Paws & Effect Dog School is a Boston-area-based dog training and walking service built on the belief that every dog deserves a structured environment, consistent training, and a loving relationship with their owner. I got into behavioral dog training six years ago to help dogs like Bruce (handsome blonde on the left) — a misunderstood rescue — become more confident, obedient, and bonded companions.
Bruce (formerly Papa) was a rescue from San Francisco, who was abandoned due to aggressive leash-pulling and behavior around children. Through structured training and copious amounts of love, Bruce became a well-mannered, off-leash companion who was a gentleman wherever he went. His transformation inspired my passion for helping other guardians and their dogs unlock the same potential. Paws & Effect was started in his honor — a business rooted in purpose, love, and second chances.
